"My military experience has helped me at my career at ERS because the military teaches you how to manage and work with people from different backgrounds. Although we have different roles and expertise, we are expected to come together and accomplish the mission. As a leader in the military, there are many transferrable skills that translate to the civilian world. I believe that one of the most invaluable skills is people management. In the service, we don’t typically get to select the people we work with. We work with who and what we are given. Similarly at ERS, as a Sales Engineer, I must problem solve with the resources I have available.
